Tempting Kerala delicacies are served at the Vembanad House. Home made vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine is said to be the highlight of this home stay hide out.

Spicy seafood typical of Kerala's coastal kitchen is served here. And some of the specialties include lobster, crab, pearl spots and duck curry.

Besides, an array of traditional fish delicacies like hot chilly meen curry, meen vattichathu, meen varutharachathu, meen pollichathu , konchu curry etc are regularly served here. For a change, you can stir up your creativity by applying your culinary skills at the Vembanad's kitchen.

TARIFF

The Vembanad House offers three double rooms and one family room that can accomadate four people. All rooms are Non-AC. The rooms are provided with all sensible amenities.

The tariff is inclusive of food that includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Extra persons above 10 years are chargeable.

Guests who stay for more than two weeks will be offered special discounts.

Tariff is applicable only for stay and food. Cost of other activities like boating, vehicle hire etc will be charged extra.

Tariff does not cover transfer to and from any place.

Only advance reservations are honoured.

Payment in full by drawing a Demand Draft favouring Mr Balakrishnan drawn on any bank in Kochi or Bank Transfer is accepted.

For cancellation of booking and refund, one has to intimate through written communication three weeks in advance.
